MnDOT Library supports the activities of the Department of Transportation, including the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the state's transportation programs and facilities by providing transportation officials and practitioners information faster, better and cheaper than they can for themselves. The library develops and participates in local, regional, national and international networks to facilitate information exchange between libraries and within the transportation community.

The Attorney General Library provides information services and resources to support the legal, policy, and law enforcement activities of the Office of the Attorney General.
Our primary customers are employees of the Minnesota Department of Transportation; students, staff and faculty of the University of Minnesota's Center for Transportation Studies; transportation staff of Minnesota cities, counties, MPOs and RPOs
We also serve employees of other Minnesota state agencies, cooperating libraries and the general public
Transport Database - a variant of the Transportation Research Information Service (TRIS) database.
MnDOT Videolog - a database of photos of every trunk highway in MN at intervals of 100 feet that can be accessed from the library but can also be accessed in MnDOT district offices
ARTS - a database providing information on all MnDOT sponsored research projects.
